TruStone Financial Federal Credit Union - PLYMOUTH, Minn. - (June 19, 2020) – To help support its communities during the COVID-19 pandemic, each of TruStone Financial Federal Credit Union’s ten branches in Minnesota are partnering with the TruStone Foundation to donate $1,000 to a local food shelf, for a total donation of $10,000. These donations were made as part of a larger initiative by the credit union to donate $1,000 per branch, totaling $14,000. TruStone’s CEO, Tim Bosiacki, thanked the staff of food shelves for continuing their hard work during the pandemic. “These organizations provide critical support to the communities they serve in the form of food, clothing and other necessities,” he said in a video response to TruStone’s nomination for a kindness challenge called CUs4U. “Even now, under increased pressure, they’re still working tirelessly to make sure the needs of the community are met.” The credit union decided to use its participation in the CUs4U challenge to support the staff of some of the food shelves it made donations to. TruStone treated the staff of Cross Services and Keystone Community Services to lunch from their favorite local restaurants.
