St Paul Federal and its members donate $15,000 and more than 1,000 toys! St. Paul Federal Credit Union - St. Paul, Minn. – Despite the pandemic facing our community, St. Paul Federal Credit Union and its members have set another record for toy and cash donations for the U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots program. “Once again, our members have overwhelmed us with their generosity,” said St Paul Federal CEO Thomas Glatt. “We felt an added sense of importance this year, considering everything our community and the world has dealt with in 2020.” “We take our role in the community seriously,” added Glatt. “All of our volunteers and employees work hard every day to give back in meaningful ways. The Toys for Tots program is one of our cornerstone events each year.” St. Paul Federal Credit Union was founded in 1953 to serve the members of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 110. In 2004 the credit union opened its doors to serve the entire city of St. Paul, Minnesota. Today it has more than $225 million in assets and serves more than 12,750 members. The mission of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots (www.toysfortots.org) program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November, and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in local communities.
