Assoicated Healthcare Credit Union – WOODBURY, Minn. – Associated Healthcare Credit Union (AHCU) is excited about its new partnership and has agreed to sponsor two scholarships each year for the next three years at St. Catherine University (St. Kate’s) located in St. Paul, Minnesota. The scholarship — officially known as the Associated Healthcare Credit Union Medical Community Scholarship — will provide scholarships to two students per year in the amount of $1,366.50 each. Scholarship recipients must be studying Health Sciences or Nursing at St. Kate’s Henrietta Schmoll School of Health and have demonstrated financial need. Additionally, each year, a portion of the funds will be used by St. Kate’s Nursing Department to purchase two award statuettes from the DAISY Foundation to honor one nursing student and one nursing faculty member with the DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nursing Students and the DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nursing Faculty. “Associated Healthcare Credit Union was founded by the medical community in 1953.
