First Alliance Credit Union Selects Jake Dorsch as CFO

Rochester, MN -- First Alliance Credit Union is proud to announce Jake Dorsch as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Dorsch will lead the Credit Union’s financial strategies, overseeing financial planning, budgeting, and risk management while driving growth and stability to support the Credit Union’s long-term success. Working closely with the executive team, he will align financial initiatives with First Alliance Credit Union’s mission of providing outstanding service and value to its members.

His experience in forecasting, asset-liability management, and strategic investing will play a pivotal role in strengthening our financial operations as we scale and enhance our service to underserved communities. I am confident Jake’s innovative approach to financial strategy and risk management will aid our growth and support our mission of providing exceptional service to our members.”

Jake Dorsch is a results-driven finance leader with extensive experience in corporate finance, capital markets, and strategic forecasting. As Associate Manager of Debt & Capital Markets at General Mills, he developed a 10-year financial forecast, optimized interest expense modeling, and led cross-border forecasting efforts, driving operational efficiency and strategic decision-making. As a Corporate Treasury Analyst at Associated Bank, he enhanced deposit forecasting for $20 billion in liabilities, projected investment cashflows for multiple bond classes, and provided actionable insights to C-suite executives. With a proven track record of optimizing processes, mitigating risks, and delivering impactful results, Dorsch is poised to excel in leadership roles that demand financial expertise and strategic vision.
