St. Paul, Minn. – Credit unions across the United States are making a profound difference in their communities through innovative financial education initiatives. The Credit Union Financial Education Network (CUFEN) is proud to serve as a central hub, championing these efforts and showcasing the transformative power of financial literacy programs. CUFEN's mission is clear: to support credit unions, leagues, and organizations in their work to improve financial literacy, empower individuals, and foster lasting change. By providing shared resources, tools for measuring impact, and opportunities for collaboration, CUFEN is garnering national attention on the importance of financial education. “Whether credit unions are launching new financial literacy programs, looking to refine their strategies, or seeking inspiration, CUFEN is here to help,” said Trysh Olson, Chair, CUFEN. “Together, we’re telling a compelling story of how credit unions are driving positive change in communities across the nation.” To celebrate and expand these efforts, CUFEN invites credit union professionals to its annual conference in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in July 2025. This annual conference event will commemorate 52 years of empowering financial education advocates and will provide attendees with valuable insights, networking opportunities, and the chance to shape the future of financial literacy initiatives. About Credit Union Financial Education Network (CUFEN): CUFEN is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering credit union educators with the resources, tools, and connections needed to promote financial literacy and strengthen communities.
