ROCHESTER, MN? First Alliance Credit Union is excited to announce their annual All for One community give back day on Monday, October 14th. Since 2015 First Alliance Credit Union has closed its branches on Indigenous People’s Day so their staff can make a positive impact for local organizations that provide service in the Rochester area community. “First Alliance Credit Union is driven by our powerful mission, where our unwavering commitment to giving back to the community lies at the core. All for One Day symbolizes the embodiment of our mission, vision, and values. It’s a day where we unite as one to illuminate the path of inspiration, hope, and support for our community.” explained Brent Rempe, President/CEO of First Alliance Credit Union. Each year on this special day, First Alliance Credit Union serves a variety of organizations through volunteering time and donating funds or other resources. During this year’s All for One Day activities the credit union staff have collectively completed over 136 hours of volunteer time at local non-profits such as Family Service Rochester, Jeremiah Program, Boys and Girls Club, Project Legacy, and the Women’s Shelter. First Alliance Credit Union’s All for One Day initiative is part of a larger state-wide credit union event, coordinated by the Minnesota Credit Union Network called CU Forward Day, in which over 60 credit unions participate in spreading kindness across the state. The moniker All for One Day originated from the credit union’s tagline, All for One, which according to the credit union’s website, means “ALL we do is FOR every ONE of our members.” About First Alliance Credit Union First Alliance Credit Union is the original credit union in Rochester, Minnesota, founded in 1932 by seven Rochester firefighters and a schoolteacher.
