Onalaska, WIS - The Altra Foundation will host its second annual Golf Tournament on Monday, June 24th, 2024, at The Golf Club at Cedar Creek in Onalaska. This event aims to bring together golf enthusiasts for a day of sportsmanship and fun, with all proceeds going towards scholarships for students, grants for teachers, and Financial Education platforms for schools. The Altra Foundation has awarded 261 Community Service Scholarships and 7 Financial Education Scholarships, totaling $220,000. The Altra Foundation’s Golf Tournament promises a day of friendly competition and camaraderie, all while making a meaningful impact on students’ and schools. Tournament check in will begin at 9 a.m. with a shotgun start at 10 a.m. There will be on-course games, 50/50 and bucket raffles, followed by a dinner reception and awards. Special thanks to TruStage as our Executive Sponsor and our three hole-in-one sponsors: Great River Harley-Davidson, Rod’s Ride on PowerSports, and Dahl Automotive. Last year’s inaugural tournament raised over $60,000 and helped provide the Banzai platform to schools and 19 community service and financial education scholarships. “We’re excited to see many of our partners on the course, helping support financial education in our communities. With the support of our partners, we are able to continue providing scholarships to deserving students,” says Danielle Anderson, Altra Foundation Scholarship Coordinator.
