Firefly Credit Union - BURNSVILLE, Minn. (Sept. 11, 2020) - BURNSVILLE - Firefly celebrated Youth Month in August to encourage youth and teens to establish smart savings habits. Throughout the month of August, over 540 new youth and teen accounts were opened, including more than 270 new youth memberships and 180 teen checking accounts. To help kick start savings, Firefly awarded new account bonuses, totaling over $7,200 for new youth accounts. In addition to providing account opening bonuses, Firefly members and the community were invited to attend a digital workshop on personal finance.
