Business North.com – Members Cooperative Credit Union (Members) observed the credit union industry’s annual “CU Forward Day” by performing random acts of kindness across their branch communities. The Members team spent the day surprising community members with gift cards at gas pumps, grocery stores, little free libraries, and laundromats; gift baskets and treats for VA centers, fire halls, and teachers; supplies for crisis intervention providers and animal shelters; and bus passes for high school students, and more. “CU Forward Day is a great opportunity to do what we do best - take care of our neighbors and make our world a little better,” said Lara Wilkinson, Communications Manager. “Our team members look forward all year to CU Forward Day and to spreading kindness in our communities. It’s fun and rewarding for everyone.”
