ARDEN HILLS, Min. –Royal Credit Union (Royal) hosted a grand opening celebration for its new Lake Area Mortgage- A Division of Royal Credit Union office. The office Is located at 1200 County Road East and is open 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Fridays. During the weeklong celebration, Members and community residents were invited to stop by Royal’s new office to enjoy special treats, learn more about Royal, and enter to win large gift baskets. A ribbon cutting ceremony hosted by the Twin Cities North Chamber of Commerce was held on Wednesday, September 21. Event speakers included Arden Hills Mayor, David Grant, Twin Cities North Chamber President, John Connelly, as well as Royal’s Board Chairman, Tom Huffcutt and President/CEO, Brandon Riechers. Arden Hills City Council members, Brenda Holden, Fran Holms, and David Radziej also attended the celebration. “We are proud to align Royal’s core purpose of making a positive impact in the lives we touch with a respected lender like Lake Area Mortgage,” said Riechers. “We look forward to providing our Members trustworthy advice and home loan solutions tailored to meet their individual needs and homeownership goals.” In the spirit of making a difference, Royal donated $500 to the Neighborhood Development Alliance. This organization provides one-on-one counseling and workshops to help people make a financial plan to buy their first home. Associate Director, Maritza Mariani participated in the ribbon cutting ceremony and accepted the gift.
