Minnesota Power Employees Credit Union - DULUTH, Minn. - Minnesota Power Employees Credit Union (MPECU) is proud to announce their CEO, Debora Almirall has been appointed to the Minneapolis Federal Reservice Community Depository Institutions Advisory Council (CDIAC), representing the ninth district. The CDIAC’s ninth district is an advisory body made up of depository institutions from Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and the UP of Michigan. The purpose of the CDIAC is to help inform the Minneapolis Fed on inputs such as regional economic conditions, loan demand, regulatory burden, and exam practices. Feedback from the regional CDIAC is given to the national CDIAC which informs Fed chairman Powell and the Federal Reserve’s Board of Governors in Washington D.C. Minnesota Power Employees Credit Union (MPECU) has been serving the needs of its member/owners since 1933. As a full-service financial institution, MPECU serves twenty-four select employers’ groups in the Northland.
