Falcon Heights, Minn. - Blaze Credit Union has announced that their Annual Meeting & Member Appreciation Day will be held on Saturday, February 24, at Grace Church in Eden Prairie. This is the first annual meeting for Blaze Credit Union, the newly-formed entity created by the merger-of-equals between Hiway Credit Union and SPIRE Credit Union earlier this year. The event follows SPIRE Credit Union’s long tradition of large, celebratory annual meetings featuring guest speakers or other entertainment. Every attendee who registers receives $25 cash upon exit. “This is an exciting time for our members and associates as we all come together for the first time as Blaze Credit Union,” said Dan Stoltz, Blaze CEO. “This is a day that everyone anticipates, and it’s so much fun to give back by way of education and entertainment, as well as the $25 cash. We look forward every year to seeing many long-time members, and this year will be extra special as so many who have never experienced an annual meeting like this have an opportunity to see what Blaze is all about.” The day will feature the Blaze Expo where members and guests can ask questions of Blaze experts about financial services topics like business services, credit cards, commercial lending, human resources, mortgage, and retirement & investment services. The event also offers optional seminars around fraud prevention, retirement & investments, selling a home, and financial wellness, which will begin at 12:45 p.m. The main program will follow at 2:00 p.m., and will include Blaze’s annual business meeting, with a message from CEO Dan Stoltz and President/Chief Transformation Officer Dave Boden. The day will culminate with an exciting performance from Circus Juventas, the largest youth performing arts circus school in North America. Circus Juventas serves over 1,500 students through year-round classes and summer camp programs, and performs before over 50,000 spectators annually. Their show has captivated hundreds of thousands of audience members in venues throughout the Twin Cities since 1994. The event is open to all Blaze Credit Union members and also to guests. Anyone wishing to attend is asked to register at online at Annual Meeting and Membership Appreciation Day. Bussing will be available from various locations around the metro and northern Minnesota.
